Just thought I would send a short note on TRAD (KIFFIN x TARA) and his progress.  TRAD is having a very nice first season.  TRAD is readily recognized as a finely trained and obedient gundog.  In the uplands he is a great tracking dog that quarters nicely and is steady to wing, shot, and fall.  On waterfowl, TRAD is a pleasure to spend time with and has superb “blimd manners” remaining quiet with eyes to the skies, always watching for approaching birds.  TRAD remains steady until sent and will readily pick up multiple marked retrieves, and handles well on long blind retrieves.

I have guided a number of waterfowl hunts over TRAD and I often have clients gun over him when I guide clients during preserve hunts.  My clients are continually amazed at the level of training TRAD has achieved at 15.5 months of age.

I write often on a number of sporting dog related sites and media outlets and train client dogs during the “off season” (April – September) here in New England.  I never miss an opportunity to promote the great selective breeding program you have at DOUBLE TT along with the great puppies you offer for sale.  I continue to be thrilled with the abilities of my first DOUBLE TT Labrador Retriever, and after having owned and worked with Labs for over 30 years, I am highly selective with regard to my preferences in a Lab.
