Meet Cory
Cory Doudican, owner and trainer, has been training and using dogs while hunting and in a professional capacity for most of his life. He has worked alongside some of the top dog trainers in the United States.
Cory became Double TT's full owner after founder and partner Haynes Floyd retired in 2020. Cory has continued Haynes's legacy of excellence, providing champion British Labs to clients throughout the United States and the world.
When he was young, Cory began helping his grandfather train hunting dogs and trained his own dogs for AKC obedience. After graduating high school, Cory worked for the Emporia Fire Department where he trained and worked a search and rescue dog. A short time later, he changed careers and went work at the Lyon County Sheriff's Office where he worked a police dog in patrol and narcotic detection. Cory became a certified police dog trainer and has since trained nearly 100 K9 teams.
Cory's lifelong passion for the outdoors and teaching and watching good dogs hunt in the field lead him to British Labradors and Double TT British Kennels. With more than 20 years of experience training gun dogs for waterfowl and upland hunting, Cory is excited to bring his skill and experience to this new career managing Double TT British Kennels.
Cory understands that each dog is unique and adapts his training to the individual dog. Seeing the dogs learn and progress from start to finish in their training inspires Cory every day.
